Guriceel (Sunatimes) Al-shabab insurgents and pro-government militias, Ahlu-suna Wal-jamaa group have clashed in Dagahyale division. Dagahyale is located 65 KM to the east of Guriel district in the central Somali region of Galgadud.

The two militias clashed on Thursday morning and the fighting was going onuntilthe afternoon.

The fighting started when Al-shabab insurgents attacked Ahlu-suna militias’ defense base. Ahlu-suna administrators confirmed to radio Bar-kulan that the clash did occur and they promised to briefe the media as soon as the fighting stops.

Pro- Ali-shabab radio stations have announced that the group achieved victory over Ahlu-sunna in the fight although Ahlu-sunna administarators refuted Shebab’s claim.

It is not yet clear the loss caused by the fighting
