    Ahlusuna Receives Delegation from Norway

Dhusamareb (Cunaabi.com) A delegation from the government of Norway today visited Dusamareb, capital of the Galgadud region.

The delegation was received by Ahlu-sunna Wal-jamaa officials who control Dusamareb district and most parts of the Galgadud region. The delagtion arrived from Mogadishu on Tuesday.

The Norwegian officials were evaluating the political and security situation of the area and the relationship between the pro-government Ahlu-Suna militia and the Transitional Federal Somali Government.

On of the delegates who only identified himself as Charles told radio Bar-kulan that they have also asked the Ahlu-suna administration if government troops can be allowed to operat in the areas under their control. Charles, also said that international delegates and officials can visit areas controlled by Ahlu-sunna group.

The chairman of Ahlu-suna Wal-jama group, Shiekh Mohamed Yussuf told Bar-kulan that his group was determined to fight radical insurgents in the Horn of Africa nation.
